2025年5月25日 訪問 駐車場が3時間を゙目安に無料で利用できます。観光バスも利用されてます。鑁阿寺、足利学校、岡田のパンヂュウなどに向かうにはベストな立地です。 トイレも利用できます。お土産売店あります。 真田広之さんが足利尊氏を演じた1991年NHK大河ドラマ「太平記」の頃に建てられたと思います。真田広之さんが身に着けていらした鎧が展示されています。今の大河ドラマ、時代劇は紙製の鎧で軽いですが、こちらはずっしり重く、馬上での撮影も多く、真田広之さんこその馬との演技がドラマの随所で見ることができます。足利にはオープンセットが何箇所か作られていました。 森高千里さんの「渡良瀬橋」の歌詞に登場する場所の案内が置かれています。とても詳しく、森高千里さんのメッセージ、写真も載っていますよ
