娘の成人式の前撮りのため御詣りに行きました。紅葉はまだでしたが、銀杏や紅葉の緑が綺麗でした。木々の緑のすき間から日の光が、差し込んでとても綺麗でした。例年11月中旬～下旬ごろなら紅葉が綺麗だと思います。本堂脇の大銀杏が黄色く色付いてハラハラと散る景色はとても美しいです。ちょうど近くでイベントをやっていた事もあり、駐車場がいっぱいでなかなか停められず困りました。国宝になって訪れる人も増えたのですから、もう少し駐車場を広くしてほしいです。

それほど広い苑内ではありませんので、ちょっと訪問するには最適です。小さな子供が遊べる遊具のある公園や売店もあります。オススメは飛駒屋さんのいもフライです。佐野のご当地グルメのいもフライとは少し違い、パン粉ではなく天ぷらですが、これはこれで美味しいです。週末は午後になると売り切れている可能性もあります。
