Ten steps from the train station, a very pleasant place to stay, at business hotel prices. The restaurant on the 9th floor has a panoramic view over the river, and the city on the opposite bank, nestled in the crook of the mountains. The rooftop courtyard, on the 4th floor in front of the wedding chapel, becomes a beer garden lit by fairy lights from 6-9pm. I had an incredible experience at New Miyako Ashikaga. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and popular attractions. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and provided all the amenities I needed, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the traditional touches, like the tatami mat area and yukata robes.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, all fresh and delicious.
Overall, New Miyako Ashikaga provided a blend of modern comfort and authentic Japanese hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to...
