Our family recently stayed in the ‘Panda’ villa for 3 nights and we were really impressed. Would definitely stay there again. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was really appreciated as we needed water one night. They also offered to drop us at the bus station on our departure day. The all you can eat ice-cream freezer was a great bonus. There is also a small shop and laundry with washer and dryer. The local sightseeing bus is just up the rode, as is the local 7 eleven, both about 5 minutes walk away. For those with cars, there is ample parking. The villa itself was immaculately clean, with a great selection of free amenities provided and daily towel change too. The fully outfitted kitchen and two toilets with a large bathroom and another outdoor bath was appreciated. Best of all we could see Mount Fuji from our bedroom and living room stair window!...

Wifi was good and strong. Our group of 6 had no issues accessing simultaneously.
Free ice cream provided daily which was a nice treat in winter.
Furuya-San was very helpful and attentive to our needs, providing meal recommendations, helping eith reservations, suggesting alternative venues etc.
The only point to note would be that both toilets are on the ground floor, making it a little inconvenient at night.
Otherwise, highly recommended and will definitely return if we revisit kawaguchiko.
PS- do visit the little izakaya just behind the villa, run by an elderly couple, about a 5min walk. Excellent food with...
