Be very careful with additional wages when checking out. I contacted the hotel by phone, email and through the third party messaging system about running late because we had issues with the bike keys and the hotel is very far from the center. Didn't receive a message back j til after the check out time which was 11:40, two hours from when I had first reached out to the hotel indicating that they would be charging me an additional 500 yen for every 30 min. Yes 500 yen per half hour!! Beyond unreasonable. This would've been alright had it been relayed beforehand or even if someone would've called or attempted to message me back but no. They intentionally waited till after 11 so that they could apply the late fee. When I asked the female receptionist why no one had attempted to reach out to and why im being charged 1100 yen for being late she simply answered that I had a discounted room. How would I have vee know that my room was discounted and furthermore why is this the reason your charging me 1100 yen. Very unprofessional. When asked to speak to a manager they came in and heard the frustration in our voices and decided it best to let the employees deal with us. All in all I would never return here. It's quite sad because the room was very spacious and the gentleman that checked us in was so nice, he even tried giving us a bottle of wine to make up for it but the whole ordeal seemed very unprofessional and it really rubbed us the wrong way. There's plenty of other hotels closer to the center that won't charge you 1000s of yens for being late. Not to mention every time you want to get back to the center of the city it an additional 1200...

Very peaceful and relaxing here even if Mt Fuji view areas are crowded with tour buses. We highly recommend. (while most of the instructions on operating the heating and tub systems are in Japanese, you can use Google translate. Also no instructions on how to use a coffee grinder, but you can YouTube using the name of the grinder. )|You can have dinner at the Winery - the iwashu charcoal bbq fish which was delicious. The beef was a bit small by American portion size. But what’s amazing is their bento continental breakfast. It changes slightly if you stay 2 nights. We had delicious quiche one morning and a vegetable soup the next. Yogurt fruit and fresh baked bread daily. And they brought you a small bottle of wine every morning, which you can keep for the evening. |Definitely a...
