Kawaguchiko Urban Resort Villa — Attraction in Fujikawaguchiko

BE CAREFUL DO NOT STAY HERE! The location is obviously good but the villa is covered in dust, obviously has not been cleaned recently. There were bugs all over the bedrooms and upon further inspection, the sheets had multiple blood stains, the key indicator of bed bugs. We slept on the floor the first night. The next morning we quickly informed staff of the problem and it took 7 hours for the manager to come talk to us. We were told they had cleaned the villa and left us blankets to sleep on the floor again with no remorse or indication of a refund. We pushed for a refund as we slept on the floor for 2 nights and after a whole day of arguing back and forth, they were only able to return a fourth of our payment. As we returned to our supposedly cleaned room, we saw the dust and dirt all over the floors still, meaning they didn’t clean at all. We had to borrow a vacuum and clean it ourselves. The second night a member of our family recieved over 40 bed bug bites and when notifying the manager of the incident the next morning, he replied with nothing. This hotel does not care for its customers and does not clean adequately, which is unacceptable given the amount of guests they have. Please do not go here as we had to stop our vacation to wash and disinfect all our belongings to get rid of all bed bugs. UPDATE: All our family members ended up having over 40 bed bug bites each, including our 70 year old grandma, her skin is very sensitive and she can’t even fall asleep because of how itchy and painful it is. We, a family of 4, stayed at the Ajisai unit for 2 nights. It was truly a memorable stay, right from the moment we stepped into the unit till we checked out. It was so welcoming and pleasant. The layout and furnishing of the unit was so practical and yet comfortable. Most pleasant was the unit comes with lots of windows and floor to ceiling glass on the ground floor which housed the living room, kitchen and dining area. Hence, the unit is always bright with plenty of sunshine. There are 2 large Bedrooms upstairs which were perfect for us.|For us, the biggest plus factor was the view of Mt Fuji that the unit offered. You are able to marvel at the snow capped mountain all day long just by lounging in the living room. With the lake fronting the mountain, the view was absolutely gorgeous.|There is a sizeable private patio and garden at the front belonging to the unit. We had our breakfast and barbecue dinner at the patio while marveling at the sight and the cool weather.|This development is within the Oishi Park which is another bonus as the park comes with all types of colourful flowers.
