We skipped some people traffic at the local bus stop and caught a short taxi ride over to #yagizakipark to begin the morning. The muse museum is super cute with its little garden, the brunch spot/store itself has cute hand made figurines & other souvenirs. We couldn't leave without trying that moscato icecream first! Oishī!! 🍦✨️ The lavender fields color was so eye catching and the smell was refreshing.
The lake itself is absolutely beautiful!🏞 👏🏼
Continuing the walk along the southern shore you can see #rokkakudo as well a mini shrine on a small island just within arms reach.
It's a lovely park and great area to enjoy the natural landscape & wildlife, exploring the lakeside is a must if in the area!

Read moreIf you're looking for a peaceful place to enjoy the beauty of sakura (cherry blossoms) near Lake Kawaguchiko, Yagizaki Park is an excellent choice. Unlike some of the more popular sakura spots in the area, Yagizaki Park is relatively quiet and uncrowded, making it a great place to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
The park is home to a variety of cherry trees, including some rare and unusual varieties. The best time to visit is in late April or early May, when the blossoms are in full bloom. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji from the park.

Read moreIt's a beautiful lake and the park grounds are extremely well kept. There are no commercial signs, or other unattractive distractions.
We rode bikes around the lake and stopped at various shops for coffee and desserts.
The only problem, my group and I had, we were there for only a day trip. I would like to spend more time there, as there is so much to see and do. I seldom write so much about places I visit, but I was completely taken.
