The unit was like an episode of tiny house living, but more luxiours. The facilities were great. A wonderful big hot tub which the whole family could soak in at the same time (my boy played with his bath toys together with us), fast and efficient Wifi, good heating, one of the comfiest widdest beds i've ever slept in (wider than tokyo hotels), plenty of dishes for you to do a bit of light cooking and gas heaters for you to enjoy the porch when its cold.||Even if you don't want to cook, there are a good 4-5 resturants within walking distance with food. Try the excellent Ramen in the small car just right next to the oroperty on the same side of the road, or the famous Hoto Noodles in a resturant just across the road (there was a queue half an hour before opening for dinner), or even some light izakayas just a bit further down. There is also a Lawson 5-10 mins walking distance, and the busstop is just right outside the property (kawaguchiko station is about 10-15min by bus away so its conveninent for rushing to the station). In spite of all these convenience there was a good level of peace and privacy at our unit. And the area didn't feel crammed either||Some downsides, the self check in was a little more inconvenient that I thought. And you don't get a beautiful view of Mount Fuji from your window/porch if that is what you...
Read moreI was very skeptical booking here after reading limited reviews, I’m very glad we did.
The standard room is quite small but is perfect for a couple or solo traveler.
Our room had a stove & cooking appliances as well as a small sofa & small TV.
We also had great aircon/heating as well as heated floorboards which I can imagine would be incredible on cold mornings.
There’s plenty of parking onsite which was one of our requirements as we were driving.
The units are relatively close together but we stayed 2 nights and did not hear the neighbours next to us or anyone else in the complex.
The road noise was also not noticeable whilst we were sleeping.
I don’t have any negative comments on our stay/experience here - Great all...
Read moreI stayed here alone for 3 nights and i loved it!!! It's such a cozy and practical place to stay.
Location is 20 mins walk from Kawaguchiko walk. There is a bus stop right outside the villa too! The moment you walk out of the villa and turn right, you can see Mt fuji! The space is perfect for me but I think tall and big sized people might struggle a little because the below the loft is low, which is understandable, it's glamping! The bbq night was wonderful, the only thing I suggest is maybe can provide a small stool just so we can sit and bbq. Would recommend anyone who wants to try glamping...
