Decided to try out this place after reading the reviews about the vegetarian food being good. Not many restaurants in this area cater to vegans or vegetarians.
I ordered the inarizushi, edamame and cucumbers with house made garlic miso.
The inarizushi was overwhelmingly sweet for my taste and I didn't find it that good. The portion was good and each piece was quite big however I couldn't finish it. The cucumber pieces with the miso were also not the best. The miso was sweet and the garlic flavour was somehow not well balanced. Edamame was standard.

I will reiterate the message from the restaurant, "don't waste the local resources (rice) if you are not going to be able to finish it." It takes a lot of hard work to put that on your table. He was out of the tofu so we got the vegan sushi (cucumber roll and pickled root vegetable rolls), inari, and edamame. I'm from Manhattan so there are plenty of inventive innovative vegan sushi. Nothing of substance here so you'll be hungry again very quickly. Nothing personal against the master as this seems to be standard across Japan. But today we'll be better off cooking...
