On a day trip to Hakone, while I was passing by, on my way to the Open Air Sculpture Garden, I inadvertently came upon this little café and was welcome by its incredibly nice owner.
He was very welcoming, and knowledgeable about coffee. He prepared a pour-over coffee for me with one of his house blend using a light roast combination from Latin American coffees, and the flavor of the coffee was excellent (I took my coffee to go and had to go back to thank him and ask for another one after my visit to the museum).
He also made some very good recommendation of specialty coffee places to go to on my upcoming trip to Kyoto. I loved this experience and was extremely lucky to have shared a moment at this place and enjoy the coffee.

The host was warm and welcoming, and talking to the other customers. I enjoyed watching him make the coffee from scratch right in front of me. Most importantly, blend 3 was delicious strong.
