If you’re a Frank Lloyd Wright fan in Japan, you should definitely visit here! One of his architectures, the original Imperial Hotel Tokyo, is relocated to the Meiji Mura architecture museum in Nagoya prefecture. As you can tell, the decorations inside the building are amazing. There’s a cafe in the building, so you can have a tea break in there. The chairs in the hotel were also designed by Wright. FYI: It is not a hotel anymore, but you can still go inside the building! Visiting this building was my main motivation for going to the Meiji Mura museum, and it did not disappoint! It’s tragic that the hotel was destroyed, but I’m glad this portion was saved. There’s a VR movie booth inside that is a must-see if you want to experience what the original building was like. The vintage furniture collection is amazing and you can sit on it! A must see for any Frank Lloyd Wright fans in Japan. And the rest of the buildings in the park are also...

Frankly, the architecture is Wright on point! It’s worth a visit just to marvel at the FLW masterpiece, one could wander endlessly within the fluid interior spaces akin to a Japanese garden. One could imagine the original lobby must have been more stunning than this...
