For a U.S. tourist it feels very much like a mix of Pennsylvania's King of Prussia mall (being two separate malls joined together) and just the sheer largeness of the Mall of America in Minnesota, especially in the larger "Mori" building.

Lots of famous restaurants can be found here and the AEON shopping (not just grocery) is also quite crazily huge. Overall, I think all ages will have something to enjoy here. I went on a weekday during obon period and the crowd is manageable. So I suggest coming on a weekday to have a pleasant shopping/walking experience.
