You can get snacks, shop for regional products, get ice cream and also soft drinks at the gift shops. There are gift shops on both side of the road. Please use the overhead bridge for your own safety.

初めて立ち寄りましたよ〜 ランチタイムを過ぎての時間(3時過ぎ)でしたが、数組のお客様がいらっしゃっいましたよ。 ひもかわうどんとソースカツ丼を注文しました。 ひもかわうどんは結構早く提供されましたが、ソースカツ丼はなかなか出て来ませんでした。

何度か来たことのある道の駅ですが、ゆっくり探索は（初）。草津温泉湯畑まで車🚘で5分（1.4km）、高崎駅からは、🚘で１時間３０分（一般道62km）レンタカーを借りて草津温泉へ行くのであれば必ず立ち寄って見て欲しい道の駅ですね。 （草津温泉行き玄関口）

道の駅周辺は、高山植物公園やツツジ公園に囲まれていて、時間の調整が出来れば散歩を兼ねて周辺を散策してみるのもお勧めです✨

また、小腹を満たすのであれば「上州名物　ひもかわうどん」が特にお勧め。ツルツルモチモチ感で（冷であれば）たれ汁も中々の甘さ(@_@)

売店は、ロマンチックショップ、草津道の駅特産ショップ、道の反対側には、ミュージアム.ショップ、展望歩道橋からの眺めも楽しめるので１時間位の休憩が取れるといいと思います。

夏場の草津温泉（湯畑）の撮影にと思いましたが時間の余裕が無いので次回ゆっくりと散策して写真📸動画🎦をお届けしたいと思います😊
