Kuroshio Sea — Attraction in Motobu

This visit to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium was truly unforgettable! We booked our tickets through KKday — just showed the QR code at the entrance for a quick and smooth entry.

The Kuroshio Sea tank was beyond amazing. We were incredibly lucky to witness a whale shark make a full turn right in front of the main viewing panel — the entire crowd gasped in awe! Seeing such a massive creature slowly rotate in the water was both powerful and peaceful — truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Each viewing spot around the tank offers a unique perspective. Looking up from below, the manta rays gliding overhead looked like futuristic spaceships — it felt like watching an ocean ballet.

We also used the LINNÉ LENS app, which lets you scan fish with your phone camera to instantly identify their names and species. It added an extra layer of fun and learning.

Outside the main building, there are plenty of food trucks selling ramen, burgers, smoothies, and more — lots of choices beyond the indoor café.

Before leaving, I highly recommend getting a commemorative coin from the souvenir machine and stamping the date on it for a personal keepsake.

初の沖縄旅行 目的は美ら海水族館のジンベイザメただ一つ 笑 直ぐ近くのホテルに宿泊し 朝一番の開館から突撃 途中の水槽には目もくれず 目指すは大水槽「黒潮の海」 到着すると人はまばら そして優雅に泳いでいるのは 子供の頃からの憧れ ジンベイザメ🦈 やっと会えた（涙） ８mの巨体が泳ぐ姿をしばしかぶりつきで観察… かっこ良い… その後 一度出口を出て また 入口から再入場 途中飛ばした水槽を見ながら再び「黒潮の海」 そして運良くマンタのお食事タイム 投入された餌を数百kgの巨体が宙返りしながら食べる姿は迫力満点 そして ブラックマンタは見た目も 呼び名もかっこいい！ 結局 ４度入出場を繰り返し 真上から水槽を観察するプログラムにも参加して...
