Extremely strict! We went one day to find that “swimming” was prohibited due to “typhoon conditions” according to the announcements made on the beach-wide PA system. Please note that although the weather forecast called for rain the day before, it had changed to almost no rain the morning of. They had ~6 lifeguards on duty patrolling the edge of the beach who would stop people from even putting their feet into the water. (FYI, the water was as still as a lake. Highest “waves” were probably 2cm tall lol) The announcement was inaccurate; it was clear that what they meant was that the water was off limits, not just “swimming!” Needless to say the beach was empty despite having many visitors, as those who came quickly left with a disappointed look on their faces. Read moreBeautiful and safe beach. If you’re walking to the beach from Lawnson area, go through the parking garage in between Lawnson and the big hotel. Then use the elevator to go down to the beach. It is the safest and fastest way to the beach. From 4th floor of the parking garage to the 1st floor of the parking garage. The beach is wonderful with clean and clear water. It does open around 8:30am and close early around 5:30pm… so double check the timeframes. They do have nets where the jellyfish cannot come in the area and have showering and changing stations. There are also paid lockers. Overall would highly recommend and...
