Nara Visitor Centre's Prayer Room — Attraction in Nara

The Visitor Center is absolutely outstanding! The atmosphere is welcoming and well-organized, and the facilities are impressive. I was especially touched by the availability of a Prayer Room – such a thoughtful and inclusive offering that shows real care for visitors’ needs.

The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth made the experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the range of services and amenities on site was excellent, making the visit not only smooth but also memorable.

This place is great and a must see in Nara! We initially came here to pray but there are a lot of great activities to do for small and big (from Origami to Calligraphy and even cosplay Kimono). The staff was super friendly and it was nice talking to them and learning things about Japan. The free activities are from 10AM to 5PM and worth checking out if you fed the deer and need some rest from all the walking.

A special appreciation goes out to the provided facilities like prayer rooms, abolition areas, free wifi, charging stations and overall great environment.

Located near Nara Park's entrance, and its on 2nd floor above a mart, it's a nice place to relax and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given 1 room to pray, ablution area was inside the bathroom, just don't forget to clean after use.
