The pond is situated right in front of the main temple so you can hardy miss it. It's a very good spot for the pictures as the main street leading to the temple is very crowded. There was in contrast noone at the pond except of only a few visitors dressed in national costumes. Being there last March during the gray afternoon, the water is not that nice and there were no sakuras yet. But I'd imagine it looks very different...

Just outside Todai-ji Temple is a beautiful pond decked with different shades of warm colours from Mother Nature.
