Towards the tail-end of our Hokkaido trip, we were craving for our second crab meal, so we made our way back to the Central Wholesale Seafood Market.
As it was already 2:30pm, a lot of the seafood restaurants were closed already apart from a few on this side of the street.
The lady was helpful in picking a crab for our meal - it was on the expensive side though she gave us a small discount as we travelled far.
Similar to our first meal (at Otaru), we had half of the crab boiled and the other half grilled. It was delightful and we devoured the entire crab in no time. We ordered two such crabs and had one boiled and the other grilled. Both tasted super yummy with the former retaining the sea "sweetness" of the crab and the latter with its moreish char notes. We patronized this outlet twice in 3 days during our 12-day self-drive holiday in the Western Hokkaido Region.
