Ushimado beach — Attraction in Setouchi

Great beach. I found the sand and water very clean and clear. There may have been some small bits of debris in the sand, but it seemed very clean compared to Canada's beach standards! I saw two white jellyfish in the water but none of the locals were concerned so they must be harmless.

A nice quiet and clean little beach with good swimming in the summer, and the Ushimado Shrine up on the headland overlooking the beach and bay.
