According to the old reviews this must have been the fourth time. Seems kind of familiar and I didn't notice any changes. Maybe the restroom designed to look like the old garage is new?

About the third time I've gone there for an alumni hanami gathering involving American universities. Pretty nice park and the location is far enough away from the stations that it doesn't attract too large of a crowd. There's an impressive old mansion of the Maeda family right next door. The 4-star rating is basically a default, with no reason to go either way.

Read moreThis park is pretty magical. The layout of the Park's main grass section is a large circle, surrounded by cherry blossom trees. It's simply amazing in the spring time. Tranquil and serene in the cooler months. You may get eaten by mosquitoes in the summer however.
