Great Ramen place, the ramen they serve here has a really big amount of noodles and they offer a lot of toppings for free (best to order all toppings - zenbu onegaishimasu). The normal size (futsu) portion made me want to roll outside of the restaurant instead of walking, it might be better for women to order a half size bowl (hanbun). I have to warn you though that this ramen is really heavy, like I already hinted. There's a lot of fat in it, fatty meat and karage. The amount of bean sprouts is also humongous, you have to eat through a mountain of it before you see the noodles. But it's worth every yen of the price, in addition to being really cheap compared to other ramen places, you get a huge amount of food for your money. If somebody is still hungry after a futsu bowl, I'll call you master for a day (there's even a big bowl, but I didn't have the guts to try it).

So why did I write every Japanese term down? Well, this place has nobody who can speak English and there might be an English menu, but they will all talk to you in Japanese and they won't understand it if you order in English, so you have to point and order it :) There's also one more huge problem that seems to be the case for every well-known restaurant in Japan: they just have limited seats, just 12. So you might want to get there early to line up (about 5 o'clock p.m.?) As there will be a gigantic queue as soon as they open up. We went there a few times, and the first time we had to wait more than 1 hour and the queue went on till the other side of the street... That's also the reason why you might want to eat a little bit faster as there's always a huge amount of people waiting to get in to eat. But it's always an indicator for a good restaurant in Japan when there are a lot of people lining up to get in. All in all great place to to eat until you're completely full, but it has a...

Worst ramen restaurant ever.

This place is a joke… I would have to agree with all the other bad reviews of this place. My friend and I went there recently because it’s near the campus. We entered this place in an optimistic mood since it seemed to be a nice ramen restaurant. HOWEVER Service from start to finish was not good. The rude staff started to yell at us because we were considering what to order for about 10 seconds. While eating, I checked the time on my phone. Suddenly, the staff shouted at me to stop using the phone and eat faster.??!! The most ridiculous thing is, as we had finished eating (It only took about 10 minutes), I talked to my friend that I’m ready to go. The staff came again and yelled at us to stop talking and get out of the place ASAP because other customers were waiting.??!!! The rudeness and lack of manners of their obnoxious staff are impressive. I have never been so badly treated by restaurant staff in my life.

Despite the terrible service, the ramen was also very ordinary, even below average. The soup base was too salty, and the ramen noodles were not boiled properly. In addition, the table was not properly cleaned, and the restaurant environment was filthy and disgusting, with a rotten odor.

Definitely an overrated place. I would leave zero stars if I could. Just don’t go there, save your time and money...

For God sakes don't order the large no matter how much you think you can eat and love ramen. I am not sure how it's physically possible to eat that much. This ramen was so amazing and I skipped breakfast and it was a late lunch and was planning on skipping dinner so decided to go for large. I tried so hard because it was so good to finish, but I couldn't. I felt so bad cause it's quite rude and I really enjoyed it but I felt like if I ate more I would get sick. I might actually not eat tomorrow that's how much food it was.

Everything was so good and the staff are quite friendly to English speaker. He took time even when they had line out door to explain menu to me and then brought a toppings menu to me in English. I can't say enough amazing things about staff and how good the ramen was. Just don't order the large lol

I just happened to walk by and see how popular it was. I had to go to a museum nearby for a paper I had to write. First time having jiro style ramen. Glad this was my first experience. Thank you and please forgive me for not...

Very voluminous, oily, garlic, caloric jiro-type ramen. The food quality is great and the price is worth its taste unless you dislike the jiro ramen. This ramen shop is always full of people so the staff made their own rule to run the business efficiently and keep the place quietly. The problem is that the first visitors (including my first visit) do not well recognize about the rule. If someone breaks the rule such as playing smartphone games, the staff get upset and say “No phones while eating”. Although you do not make them angry, you can leave the shop only with the good experience. But if something wrong happens, you will eat ramen having the bad feelings. It feels like I just focus on telling the bad things about the shop, but my point is you might have bad experience. Other than that, the food is very good and I recommend to visit this place!
