This Station is the starting point for the famous ride up Mount Takao, and it makes the climb much easier, especially for families, elderly visitors, or anyone who doesn’t want a long hike.
The cable car runs every 15–20 minutes, and a round-trip ticket costs around 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children, which is reasonable. The station itself is small but well-organized, with clear signs and staff who are friendly and helpful.
There are vending machines, toilets, and slopes for accessibility, though wheelchairs may need some assistance due to the steep boarding area. Parking is available nearby but fills up quickly on weekends and holidays, so arriving early or using the train is recommended.

Overall, it’s a fun and convenient way to start your Mount Takao visit, especially if you want to save energy for exploring the trails and...
