Takaosan Cable Car Kiyotaki Station — Attraction in Tokyo

I have been here many times. but usually I take the lift or walk. This is the first time that I have tried the cable car. Pretty unique experience. There weren't many people queueing both to go up and the way down the mountain, but beware that there could be long queues in the high season . Better to come early, enjoy and return as early as around 1400hr or you could wait in a very long queue. Mt Takao cable car station is the one at the top of the mountain. The one at the bottom is Kiyotaki cable car station. There is a lift on the arrivals side of the station for passengers with buggies.

The station is about a 5 minutes walk from the monkey park and approximately 20 minutes from Yakuoin. There are often queues to get the cable car back down the mountain from about 3 pm, but the line moves quite fast.
