I carried my 2 kg LENOVO laptop for 2 hours to reach Yodobashi camera Kichijoji to have it checked what need to be done since I couldn't reboot it.

I took it to the customer service counter. A young man on duty didn't seem to know what to do let alone being helpful to someone who is physically challenged like me.

I noticed there's a LENOVO counter at the corner of the counter so I decided to go there instead. To my shock the man said it's not his responsibility and refused to help me even though they're no other customers waiting!!

Two months ago I went to find out where the LENOVO counter is. A fat man standing at computer section instructed another staff to to show me although he's standing only 2-3 seconds from the LENOVO counter!

I did complain to the Team leader on both occasions. I doubt the service will...

Probably the #1 “go to” place in Kichijoji if you plan on buying electricals or duty free goods. Plenty of staff on hand to assist. Tax free information on the ground floor by the right hand entrance and announcements are in 3 Asian languages and now many European including Spanish and French.

Prices are variable. You may wish to compare with Amazon.co.jp while in store but remember you can get your tax refunded. For those living in Japan you may see 5-10% difference in prices but often with bonus store points in the trade off.

Returns are a nightmare however. If you have a faulty item it will be returned to the manufacturer. Refunds are like pulling teeth.

Yodobashi camera is a typical Japanese electronic store offering everything from home appliances to high end computers.

This location can be confusing to navigate as the layout and escalators are in a strange pattern. It is easy to in the store!

This locations PC parts selection was in complete disomey. They had only 1 sick of ram, hard drives baren and the GPU selection was baren with only a few last generation cards.. Not sure why they even bother to...

They have a workshop in the store, so if it's something simple, they can sometimes complete it on the same day, which is very helpful. I don't know if it's the store's concept or if they just happen to have a selection of the best, but you get points when you make a purchase, so I want to buy here.
