I booked Uji’s municipal tea room, Taiho-an, for a tea ceremony event over the phone. You can also book online in advance. (They offer several tea options, such as Usu-cha, Sen-cha, and Gyokuro. Usu-cha is a basic type of matcha, and it costs only 1,000 yen, including confectionery and tax.)

I participated in the tea ceremony, Otemae, with a Singaporean mom and her daughter. The Japanese hostess wore a traditional kimono and spoke in English. Surprisingly, she didn’t realize I...

10/10 super chill vibes. The lady working there is super chill and the whole place is quiet. You can just rest here for a while. Toilets are plentiful.

宇治川観光のオアシス⛲宇治市観光センター 今回は２度も助けられた この日は☀晴れたり☁曇ったり☂雨降ったり忙しい天気 結構激しい通り雨に雨宿り出来たのがここでした🎵

雨宿り中にσ(^_^)持参のWi-Fiルータを忘れてしまい １時間後に気付いたのだが ちゃんと手元に戻りました おそらく来場者が見つけてスタッフに届けていただけたのだと思います 皆さまありがとう❢ m(．．)m

感染症流行による緊急事態宣言で今は休場中 早く収束して また観光客の癒やしの場所になりますようにっ
