The entire park is an excellent spot to get great views of the river and neighborhood. Free to visit, and open 24/7 without any obstacles. It's a great place to go to on a sunny clear day. Despite being public and right over the water, it's also very clean and well maintained. No rusting, nor any other environmental damages on the rails and boardwalk. I loved walking here, and can say that Uji Park is a can't miss for anyone strolling...

Uji is a historic city located between Kyoto and Nara, famous for its rich cultural heritage and tea production. It’s considered the birthplace of Japanese matcha (the real reason why i came here and stay for more because of the beautiful places like the Uji river and park) and offers numerous traditional tea houses and shops. Somehow i really loves places in Japan during the rain or right after, its add more dimension to the magic...

Uji River Park is a tiny human-developed park located on Uji River. Visitors who visit Byodoin Temple or Koushouji Temple and stop by the Uji River Park which is suitable for viewing the river scenes.

On one corner of the Park, there is a caged area for Uji City to breed local birds, and generally there are a few birds which are under protections...

Traveling Together, Growing Together: A Two-Year-Old's Family Trip to Osaka, Japan Expense Breakdown Airfare (6 adults, 1 child, round trip from Hangzhou to Osaka): ¥35,682 Kyoto accommodation: ¥2,451, Osaka accommodation: ¥4,745, Private car: ¥9,800, Visa: ¥340*7=¥2,380, Tickets: Universal Studios + Kaiyukan Aquarium: ¥7,665, Yen exchange: ¥10,000=150,000 yen On average, it came to about ¥12,000 per person, considering it was during a holiday season [Laughing Emoji] Essentials for the trip are shown in Photo 1. Ever since we had our little one, most of the suitcase is filled with his stuff [Facepalm Emoji], and it just keeps expanding... About Flying: Our little one was under two years old when we went to Osaka, so he didn't have a seat on the plane. We flew with Xiamen Airlines, which kindly arranged for us to sit in the front, which was more spacious. Our little one was very well-behaved on the plane; he was quite excited at first but fell asleep soon after takeoff. The flight from Hangzhou to Osaka is quick, just over two hours, and he woke up just before landing. Although the flight attendants prepared a baby meal for him, he preferred our food [Facepalm Emoji]. Safe landing. A private driver picked us up, which was very pleasant. Due to the flight delay, we couldn't make it to the Arashiyama train ride on the first day, which was a pity [Crying Emoji]. However, the guesthouse was right next to a Daikoku Drugstore, where we went on a shopping spree, finding more variety than in Osaka! Uji Park & Nara Park: The guesthouse was near a small park for kids to play in. Early in the morning, grandma and grandma took our little prince to play, and he adapted well to Japanese life, very happy; in the morning, we visited Uji Park, the scenery was very nice, and there were few people, thanks to the driver for taking us there; after a brief visit, we went to Wakakusa Hill and Nara Park, some deer are indeed quite fierce, hide the deer crackers well, choose small deer to feed, they will nod to you, our little one was also brave enough to touch and feed the deer, and even after returning home, he often mentioned wanting to go back to Japan to see the deer [Eating Watermelon Emoji]. So, the little one does have a memory, it's a gradual process, it's always good to take them out more. Universal Studios Osaka: Many attractions have height restrictions, including the children's area, the basic height requirement is 92cm, unfortunately, our little one is only 88cm tall, so he couldn't play many attractions, but he still lingered, playing the carousel, spinning cups, and other attractions over and over again, and had a great time with the mascots, we arranged for our little prince, grandma, and grandma to stay in the children's area, the rest of us four adults went to play the attractions, during the National Day holiday, the queues were actually quite manageable, the popular attractions like Harry Potter and Jurassic Park didn't have queues longer than an hour, but we still chose to buy fast passes in advance, played very smoothly, no queuing [Party Emoji]. It was during the Halloween event period, and there were many Halloween activities in the park, which were quite interesting. Kaiyukan Aquarium: Last National Day, we went to the aquarium in South Korea, so this one in Osaka was quite disappointing, really just average, if I were to rate it out of five stars, this aquarium would only get two and a half stars. However, the Ferris wheel next to it is worth a ride, you can overlook the entire Osaka. Every year, we take our little prince on at least one overseas trip, although it's tiring, we still hope to grow with him, and the little one also likes this way of companionship [Flying Kiss Emoji]. #TravelWithKids #FamilyTrip #OsakaTravel #UniversalStudiosJapan #NaraPark #KaiyukanAquarium #JapanTravel #TravelExpenses #BabyTravel #XiamenAirlines #TravelEssentials #HalloweenAtUSJ #FerrisWheel #
