It does the job for a trip to Disney! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our trip (3 Disney days), and expected comparable usage of room as our regular trips to Disney World in Florida -- spending the majority of the day at the parks, and coming back to the room to shower and sleep.
It's a great value as far as the resort area goes. Our room faced Tokyo Disney's castle, which was magical to see lit up at the end of each night. Staff was super friendly, and the complimentary bus to Bayside Station (to get to Tokyo DisneySea),Tokyo Disney, and Maihama Station were much appreciated. The walk was also super straightforward to Bayside Station, if you prefer to get more steps in!
As stated in many reviews, the rooms are on the older side. We pushed the 2 twin beds together to sleep. They have very thin sheets, but that's probably for the best, as my biggest critique of the hotel is the lack of strong A/C. It was windy and cool the nights we were in Disney, so it worked for us to open the window before we slept, and then "max out" the A/C system for the remainder of the night. Still, if you find it impossible to sleep without cold air, and are going in the warmer months, this is NOT the hotel for you.
The bathtub/shower area is a little capsule all on its own, as is the toilet (via pocket door); I found them to be little heat-boxes, and struggled a bit with being in them for any long period of time. Due to the heat, I also wonder if there is some presence of mold in the room, as my husband and I woke up each morning...
Read moreI can’t say that this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it was one of the worst value wise. The price is not cheap, it’s not as expensive as the other Tokyo Disney hotels, but it’s not as nice as them either. I’ve stayed at Disney value hotels before in other countries, and they create the value by making things simpler, not in cutting corners.||The difference is most obvious in the rooms. At most value hotels the rooms are simple but neat. These rooms were dated in the looks and needed paint and new carpets desperately. The halls were pretty much the same. The place is also way understaffed. One morning we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at a table, we were second in line and there were several tables with dirty dishes sitting on them. In this entire restaurant, at the peak breakfast time they had 3 staff to clean tables, refill the buffet and seat people. When you’ve paid a lot to be in the parks and for your hotel you don’t want to be waiting long for breakfast. ||The staff was the best part of this hotel, always friendly and helpful (although many did not speak English so you may need some pantomime skills). The final sad part of our visit to this hotel was the bag delivery fee. After spending a high price for a second rate hotel, they not only had the nerve to charge an additional hotel fee on top of the delivery fee for our bags, but the delivery service didn’t take credit cards (and shipping bags is not cheap). Our trip to Disney was fine, but frankly we felt like this hotel was...
