Urayasu city Sōgō Park — Attraction in Urayasu

This park is one of the best park you’ll find in Tokyo’s surrounding. Though it’s not in Tokyo but it’s just one station away from Tokyo city. It’s location is posh as it’s very near to Tokyo Disneyland. It’s surrounded by many Disneyland Hotels & right in front, you’ll have beautiful sea 🌊view. 爽やかな海風を感じられる、とても開放的で太陽の光を存分に浴びることが出来る公園です。デイキャンプ兼バーベキューが出来るスペースやアスレチック感覚の遊具もありますが、何といっても大きな特徴が、広大な芝生。キャッチボールやフリスビーから単純な日向ぼっこに至るまで、思い思いに過ごすことが出来ます。新浦安駅から距離があるため、アクセスにやや難がありますが、逆に駅周辺の喧騒は感じられず、ゆったりと気ままに時間を過ごすには丁度いいかもしれません。そんな環境であるからか、犬の散歩やジョギングのコースとしても多く利用されています。 一方、園内は植樹と日陰になりそうな建物が少ないです。そのため、日の焼きすぎには注意。小さめのテントを持ち込む人もいますので、それで直射日光を避けるといいかもしれません。

It is a very open park where you can feel the refreshing sea breeze of Tokyo Bay. I recommend you to visit here on a fine day. The greatest charm of this park for me is not a barbecue square nor a playground equipment, but a vast grass area. In there, you can play various sports like catch and frisbee or have leisure time. Because there is about 3km from Shin-Urayasu station, you'll feel that there is somewhat difficulty in accessing there. But it leads to avoiding from the hustle and bustle around the station.
