Beautiful place to be with great views and nice relaxation. Its good to walk, run, or sit at the benches while enjoying the beautiful atmosphere. Beware on sundays where you may face parking issues as thr place would be crowded. Otherwise, if you're looking for some fresh air, a tan, and a smell of sea iode, then visit this place and enjoy. Be careful when you're bringing kids, as the steel fence on the side seperating the corniche from the sea has big gaps which makes it not suitable for them, especially toddlers. Read moreThe worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. There are a lot of beggars on the street, and you don’t feel safe at all. The flower sellers are aggressive they try to force you to buy a flower. You’ll also see a lot of motorcycles riding on the corniche, even though they’re not allowed to. And when you ask them why they’re riding there, they respond in a very rude way. You also get a lot of strange stares from weird people. I don’t recommend this place at all. If you still want to go, go on a weekend during daylight. At night, it feels like the wilderness....
Read moreFor an early morning run or sunset walk this is the place to go to in Beirut to see day to day living. You see people playing board games or exercising, old men and children swimming and many fishermen. So different to the idea foreigners have of Beirut. Great place to take photos.
