Gefinor Rotana — Hotel in Ras Beirut

The Best Five Star Hotel in Beirut is still, in my candid opinion, the: Rotana Gefinor.||The Rotana Gefinor is in the Hamah District of Beirut and is very close to many of the “happening night spots” of Beirut.||Firstly, I had booked an Airport Pickup directly from the hotel, and as we were leaving the Departure area of Beirut International Airport, we found the hotel’s driver with our name on a sign board.||We were quickly whisked away from the airport to Rotana Gefinor hotel. ||Upon driving up to the entrance of the Gefinor hotel the hotel’s Bell Staff were waiting for our arrival. Our suitcases were taken from the van and placed in the reception area.||At the Check in Reception Area Mr. Ali welcomed my wife and I with a warm greeting and asked how was our fight? He informed us that our upgraded suite was ready and prepared for our arrival. ||We were upgraded into Suite number #1501 which has a great view of both downtown Beirut and of course the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.||Waiting for us in our suite was a nice plate of fresh cut fruits and a very nice bottle of St. Thomas, 2018 Reserve Red Wine complements of the Food & Beverage Manager.||My wife and I decided instead of eating at the hotel’s Olive Garden restaurant on the ground floor or going out of the hotel for dinner that we would simply order a light dinner in our suite from the hotel’s Room Service. The room service was very fast and the soup and Pizza Margaritta with fresh mushrooms were both very tasty. The complementary Red Wine went very well with our dinner. ||The Rotana Gefinor allowed us to have a very relaxed dinner in our room and my wife and I both slept quite early.||All the Rotana rooms/suites are very comfortable and have everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. ||In the morning my wife and I enjoyed a very delicious breakfast buffet served in the Olive Garden restaurant. The Chef’s homemade Omelets were very tasty and prepared perfectly. ||Later that morning we had a very professional check-out, and they took our car from the underground car park to the departure area. To our surprise the car had been washed and was very clean.||What makes me say that the Rotana Gefinor is the top Five Star Hotel in Beirut is simply because of first the top service rendered to us ; all rooms/suites are extremely well decorated and are very relaxing for all guests, the Rotana Gefinor location is very convenient district for shopping or simply walking in the Hamara District, and finally on each of my stays the staff greats us warmly and always remembers our names. ||So, I firmly feel that the Rotana Gefinor is: “My Home Away from Home in Beirut”. I guarantee that you will feel the same after a few stays at the Rotana Gefinor, trust me...

This was my first trip to Beirut in over 14 months, and I wanted to spend one night in this great city, so I booked my room in advance at the Gefinor Rotana.||Now, after this last short stay I must admit the Gefinor Rotana is now: “My Home Away from Home Hotel in Beirut”.||The Gefinor Rotana is, in my humble opinion, the best five star hotel in Beirut!||There are many, many reasons why the Gefinor Rotana is so, so good.||First when I drove up to the main entrance I was greeting warmly by Mr. Hassan, the Gefinor Rotana Doorman for the past umpteen years! I could not imagine how he remembered my name after such a long time. ||The front Desk receptionists also recognized me and asked how was my drive from Damascus to Beirut? The check in process is very fast and professional.||I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a beautiful view of the sea and the city. I did enjoy sitting on my balcony for many hour’s!||In my suite waiting for me was a fantastic Fruit Plate with seven different fresh fruits, three scrumptious deserts and one bottle of my favorite Lebanese Red Wine – a 2019 Clos St. Thomas Les Gourmets Rouge!||During the morning, I wanted to make use of the hotel’s roof top Swimming Pool again, so I simply called the Front Desk and asked for a later check out time, and they at once accepted this important time extension.||All the rooms at the Gefinor Rotana have been recently refreshed with new decorations and added additional work space in the living room. ||The rooms are fresh and very, very clean. ||Finally, and maybe the most important factor during each of my stays at the Gefinor Rotana I get a fantastic nights sleep as the beds are extremely comfortable.||Then you must add the other important items such as the hotels main restaurant, the Olive Garden, it serves a fantastic Breakfast Buffet and has a great á la carte menu for dinner.||The Gefinor Rotana has a very nice roof top Swimming Pool, which I used many times even on this short stay plus a very comprehensive Gym that has all the necessary equipment to ensure a safe and thorough work out. ||I suggest, if you have never stayed in the Gefinor Rotana Hotel, that you try it as you too would believe, like me that this hotel is: “Your Home Away from Home...
