I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. I took the time to make a reservation over the phone, hoping for a pleasant evening with my friends. Little did I know, I was in for a rollercoaster of frustration and disappointment.

Arriving at the restaurant, I was told that no reservation under my name is available and that I had called the wrong number. Seriously? They couldn't even locate my reservation and had the audacity to insinuate that it was somehow my mistake.

Despite my efforts to secure a reservation on the spot, I was told that they had no record of it, and the restaurant was supposedly fully booked. It's as if they had no regard for the time and effort I had put into planning this outing. But guess what? As soon as we left the establishment, one of my friends called to inquire about a reservation and, magically, there was suddenly space available.

The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was astonishing. Not only did they fail to honor my reservation, but they also managed to make me look like a liar in front of my friends. It's utterly unacceptable that they could treat customers with such disrespect.

And let's not forget the glaring issue of gender bias. The fact that they seemed to judge us based on our group composition, with "4 girls and one guy," speaks volumes about their discriminatory behavior. This sort of behavior has no place in a modern society.

All in all, my experience at this restaurant was a complete disaster. Their unprofessionalism, lack of integrity, and discriminatory behavior have ensured that I will never step foot in that establishment again. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice before subjecting themselves to such a disrespectful and...

🌟 Al Hind Beirut – A Flavor-Packed Feast! 🌟

We recently had lunch at Al Hind Beirut with a group of four, and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish!

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with crispy papad and flavorful chutney, setting the tone for the meal ahead. For starters, we ordered a variety — chicken lollipop, samosas, and pakoras — and each one was absolutely mind-blowing. The starters were perfectly spiced, crispy, and full of flavor, making it hard not to fill up before the main course!

For the main dishes, we went all out with chicken biryani, mutton biryani, shrimp biryani, chicken karahi, naan, and roti. Every dish was on point — the biryanis were rich and aromatic with tender meat and just the right amount of heat. The karahi chicken was a standout with its deep, robust flavors, and the naan and roti were soft, fresh, and perfect for scooping up the delicious curries.

Service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance added to the overall experience. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both the quality and authenticity of their food.

Highly recommend Al Hind Beirut if you're craving flavorful, well-prepared Indian cuisine with great service. We'll...

First time at AL HINDI and wow where do I even begin! I tasted real Indian food by Indian people 5 years ago, so I know exactly how it’s supposed to taste and honestly I was worried that AL HINDI here in Lebanon wouldn’t get it right. But from the second I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. Mr. Mohammed greeted us so warmly and Ahmad took care of our table like a pro. The vibes were amazing, I loved the Indian music playing and the whole design of the place was sooo nice.

I went all out and ordered Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, sag paneer, vegetable korma, tandoori chicken, garlic naan and cheese garlic naan. Yes, I was hungry 😂. Some dishes had slightly different names on the menu but they happily customized my order exactly how I wanted it.

The food was beyond my expectations. Honestly, I REALLY REALLY ENJOYED every bite. The taste, the flavors, the texture, everything was on point. It’s not a super cheap place, actually a bit above average pricing, but totally worth it for the quality you’re getting.

If you’re into Indian food, seriously trust me and try this spot. They know what they’re doing and nail every dish perfectly. I’m already planning...

Authentic Indian Flavors in Beirut I recently dined at Al Hindi and was impressed by the rich flavors of their dishes. I tried the - Boneless Tandoori 🍢 was perfectly spiced and cooked, definitely my favorite - Butter Chicken 🧈 creamy and well balanced - Shajkhani Korma 🥩 is one of my favorites, tender and flavorful, though a bit on the sweeter side - Beef Biryani 🍚 very flavorful but could use more lamb chops - Chicken Tikka Masala 🍲 deep aromatic flavor - Naan breads were absolutely delicious 🫓 warm, soft, and the perfect side to every dish - Samosas and spring rolls 🥠 were average, not bad, but not standout either - Mango Lassi 🥭🥤had more of a frozen yogurt mango flavor, refreshing, but different from the traditional taste As for the desserts, I tried the Gulab Jamon 🍡 and the Gajar Halwa 🥕 they were just okay. Overall, a satisfying experience if you’re craving Indian food in Beirut. Definitely worth a visit for the mains, naan, and vibrant flavors.

All throughout lunch I kept debating whether I like the butter chicken or the shrimp malabar more. They are both delicious. The Indian food at Al Hindi Restaurant, in the Warwick Palm Beach Hotel, is extremely flavorful. The melange of spices creates a harmonious symphony that plays inside your mouth. It all started with their tasty papadum. Then, we ordered the dal, butter chicken, shrimp malabar, murg tikka, and pilao (rice). The murg tikka is really tender and nearly melts in your mouth. The creamy sauces of the butter chicken and the shrimp malabar are to die for. The meal ended with the usual loud churning of the machine punching in numbers to produce a paper with the amount due to be settled (for those of you who have been there, you know what I am talking about). However, I will be returning to Al Hindi to enjoy some more of its comforting wholesome Indian cuisine.
