My boyfriend and I are traveling from out of town. We were excited to visit this skate park but our experience wasn't that great. I roller blade and my boyfriend skateboards. Unfortunately my boyfriend wasn't able to skate because he didn't have a helmet but I did. I'm fairly new to skating at skate parks so my boyfriend was helping to learn how to drop in. Two large and deep bowls connected together, one lower down so a drop into the lower one with fairly steep and high sides. Definitely the more advanced level skater bowl. Read moreThis skatepark blows. You are required to wear a helmet, I'm 23 years old, I've been skating for 11 years, no helmet. I am skating as an adult at my own risk. I think it's reasonable if you're under 18 to wear a helmet but, everyone??? Seriously dude?? I personally cannot street skate with that extra weight on my head, so I definitely will be either going there and breaking the rules and simply taking off the helmet, or I will not skate here at all.
