I love this park and this pavilion was in the perfect spot for the perfect pictures. There are a few tips to know. We used this pavilion for a memorial and balloon release. Unfortunately, we were not aware that you have to reserve the spot. We also weren’t aware you can’t release balloons in this park either. And parking is not free on Saturdays. These are things we probably should have known as Houstonians but the pavilions at parks near us are first come first serve, do we just assumed it has the same rule, lesson learned. There are no tables or chairs so bring some with you if you are having an event. The only restrooms near by we found were portable toilets. I’m not sure if they had some further down we missed but I thought it was worth mentioning so others will know 😊 The spot is absolutely beautiful at night. It is a popular spot and parking can be a hassle, keep that in mind. I would highly recommend this park and pavilion. It’s amazing!
