I don't know who named this place but whatever, all that matters it what it taste like, and Tacodeli is great! First, I love there is ample parking because that is a rare thing in these here parts. It's counter service, and the worker was really helpful answering my husband's questions. As for me, I don't have questions. I like to come prepared with what I want to order and get it done. We ordered the chips and queso to start. The chips were fresh (yes they are in a bag but they are really good) and the queso was some of the best I have had but I still like Torchy's queso a tad bit better. Sorry, not sorry. I got the Pollo Fantastico, which has a green chile sauce and crema on it, and of course on a flour tortilla. It was so delicious and the tortilla was thin, but not so thin that everything came busting out. I will order this one again! I also got the Shrimposito on flour. It has a chipotle sesame adobo and queso fresco, but something about the way it all tasted was not to my liking. I mean, it wasn't awful, it just wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. The tacos are smaller, and had I not eaten chips and queso, I probably could have had 3-4 tacos total. Fairly fast and super delicious, and now one of my favorites!

So, I want to start off by saying the service and atmosphere was not bad at all, but at the end of the day, the food is the most important thing. I came here a few weeks ago and got some very subpar breakfast tacos. I usually do not return to an established after getting food that tastes as bad as this place is, but it was raining and I wanted something very close to my home. I decided to give this place another shot. I ordered the “Migas” plate. This was absolutely terrible. I don’t know who owns this place or runs the menu, but they clearly have zero clue about what Migas are. They gave me bad scrambled eggs, horrible beans and just folded a tortilla on the side and have the audacity to call this, “Migas.” Not only was the taste horrendous, but THIS IS NOT MIGAS. I have no clue how this place has such a high rating. It’s very bad in terms of the food. Also, their cold brew is Cuban coffee. They should advertise that on the menu 31 in parentheses. Cuban coffee is as you know, extremely strong. No sugar, milk or anything can be added. The overall experience with the cuisine is very bad. This place should have a 3.2-3.5 at best. The people who eat here have no clue what good Mexican food is if they are giving this a 4.5 rating.

This place is great and there is so much free parking!! I came with a few friends and had to wait about 5 minutes in line. I got the blue plate special with the Pollo fantastico and the Frontera fundido chicken both on flour(their tortillas are fantastic!). The plate comes with your choice of beans and rice. Both were good just a tad salty. Pollo fantastico: the shredded chicken in this taco was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The Green Chile sauce and crema complimented the chicken well. Frontera fundido chicken: I wasn't much of a fan of this one. The chicken was a little too dry and the poblano-onion rajas made the already dry taco drier. I had to add a lot of their salsa doña to make this taco good. Salsas: If you like spicy their habanero is similar to torchys but less gritty. Their salsa doña is absolute perfection. Hands down the best salsa at any taco place I have been to. Even beats out a lot of those authentic taco trucks. Overall the atmosphere is great, food was good and I can't wait to go try more tacos. I also recommend checking out Platypus brewery next door!

I love this place... I happened upon it when I was in the area and so happy I did. I love the mole tacos.. I really like mole and anytime I see mole on the menu anywhere, I take my chances and order it. These mole tacos DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I have had other tacos here as well, the pork belly taco, and chicken fajita tacos, also barbacoa tacos... and I even tried their Tacodeli mashed potatoes. WOW. I mean... if there are mashed potatoes on the menu, I'm ordering them, and all I can say again is WOW.

The service has always been consistent when I go in there, fast and friendly, and willing to offer up a suggestion, (although you should take mine and get the mole) It's a cute nice airy location too, with outdoor covered seating.. you really cant ask for more from this place. If Tacodeli had other locations near me, I would definitely become a regular... I HIGHLY suggest the chicken mole tacos. But listen, if you don't know what mole is, maybe ask for a tiny sample first because mole is different than any other type of mexican sauce. but again, its delicious ! Oh, and compliment your taco with the creamy habanero salsa ( a dab...
