The park is famous for organizing various concerts, fireworks, health care programs etc.
What caught my eye was the charming love lock fence on the pedestrian bridge over Allen Pkwy rd which is reminiscent of Paris' Pont des Arts. It's adorned with locks placed by Houston residents and visitors.
No entry fee makes it accessible to everyone. There is street parking adjacent to the park, but it gets filled quickly during weekends or events. The park is open 24 hours. Normally we visit there at night to enjoy the skyline view in its shinier state.
