A delayed review from October. It is always unfortunate to write a review like this (where I'm not commenting on the actual food or drink), but it is not possible to comment if there is nothing to order. I came to Le Tea on a Saturday around 7pm (1.5 hours prior to closing). The menu looked great - tons of options, and I was super excited to try their boba offerings. Unfortunately, they were out of boba (a problem if you are bubble tea place - imagine going to McDonald's and them being out of burgers!). And outside of boba, only 10% of drink items were still available... again, 1.5 hours before closing on a Saturday night.
Having worked in high school at a frozen yogurt stop, I totally understand that you try to estimate how much product you might need so you don't have to throw out any supply at day's end and can maximize profit. But not having 90% of your drinks (and no boba)? The result of that is customers like myself will be upset that we journeyed to your store. It is a waste of our time and we will not want to come back (which I won't do, especially since there are several other good boba spots in Vilnius). Tried the recommended brow sugar bubble milk with tea. Had the large version with 30% sugar and a small amount of ice, and it was perfect for me since the tapioca pearls also add some extra sweetness to it. Perfect for taking out and drinking while exploring the nearby sites in the city.
Service was very friendly and understanding of us not knowing exactly what we wanted. So we had suggestions to our orders of what would work best. Waiting time of the order was also not so long, and we had it relatively fast.
Inside the place you can also buy other products and drinks since they have a little...
Read moreBest legit taiwanese boba place in Vilnius. Other chain places are fine but this is actually more like the boba someone visiting from the US may expect. They sell imported east asian products too! Variety from White Rabbit candies, special sauces, various instant ramens etc that an expat might be struggling to find in other stores. As for ordering, they make it easy for locals and tourists to adjust anything from sweetness to type of milk or flavor, etc. I wish this place was around 10 years ago when i lived close by as an expat! This tops the chain boba places in Lithuania for sure, and worth the stop for any boba lovers...
