Beach was abit dirty, some plastic and rocks, but water was crystal clear! Lots of parked boats but not much traffic. We decided to walk there from the main village through the viewpoints, it took us 2 hours it was quite a hike in flip flops! Through the jungle. Lots of bugs and mosquitoes make sure to bring bug spray. Route wasn’t easy. But anyone who is looking for some hike and adventure should do it. We took a taxi boat for 600 back. It you don’t have time to explore the whole island don’t do it. Go to the long beach water is crystal clear and do some snorkeling there

We took a long walk from our hotel (Erawan Palms Resort) to Loh Lana Bay. I saw many photos of Loh Lana Bay online where the beach is covered in trash and litter. I was pretty happy to find a clean beach without any trash when we went there. The only thing that could have been better that day was the weather (as you can see on the photo). Other than that: It's a beautiful spot that makes you feel like you are stuck in paradise. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

I liked it. People complain about trash but during our visit it wasn't bad. It wasn't completely clean either but we couldn't see it as a problem. There are little nice crabs too and they run fast! Not very touristy too. At least there aren't those people that call on you kayakii taxi taxii. Restaurants aren't far either about 5 min walk. I think it is worth a visit if you have a time thoughthis shouldn't be on your bucket list.

WARNING : To reach this place, you need to walk more than 1H30 in the jungle from the town. It is very hot and humid so you will be incredibly sweaty. Bring a lot of water ! There is also a lot of wild animals on the way. You have an excellent view from the beach but the sand is also extremely dirty, filled with junk everywhere which was highly disappointing. I do not think this place is worth the effort.

Do not bother coming here, especially if it is not already included as part of a snorkelling tour. Especially, do not bother to walk here. The beach is dirty and badly maintained. Beyond the beach is a failed attempt to build a resort, leaving a construction mess everywhere. There is a “short cut” to the bay that must have cut through jungle that is no longer there. That’s about it - 0/10.

Some rocks in the water so pay attention when entering. Shallow in the afternoon due to the tides. Better in the morning. Snorkeling are good in the entrance of the bay but you need to swim app. 500-600 meters. There you can se parrot fish, sargent majors, surgen fish, angel fish, banner fish and a lot of other colour full fishes. The visibillity was good there but poor in the bay.
