Special spot in vianden .. it was overwhelming to see the bed and the writing table of Victor Hugo 😊 His paintings!! Didn’t know that he did paint beautifully as same as he wrote.. Interesting to know about his life in Vianden . The museum receptionist was so friendly and kind such special lady gave a lot of information about Vicod Hugo and his short life of 2 months and half in Vianden 🙏🏻😍

We were toured around the museum by the Museum Director, who provided us with expert knowledge on Victor Hugo's life and insights. This really enhanced the enjoyment of discovering this small site tucked in the center of Vianden, a charming small town, with spectacular views on the famous castle.

The docent was great but it the museum was a little meh. If you're a significant Victor Hugo fan and want to hear more about his time in Luxembourg you may like it. I didn't feel I learned a lot about Hugo as a person, just what he did. A friend of mine felt like she learned a lot so it may be worth it for some. I'm attaching pictures of the views you have...

Small and cozy museum, it use to be a shop which the owner rented the second floor to visitors and Victor Hugo has stayed there for a few months in different time You can see the Viendan castle thorough the window from second floor and it’s nice to stop if you are around We have paid 5 euros...
