A very well-maintained and peaceful memorial site. The park is clean, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, making it a calming place for reflection. Although it's located right next to a busy highway, the atmosphere remains sereneāaside from the occasional sound of traffic, it's very tranquil.
Inside, youāll find historical plaques, engraved panels, and monuments commemorating those who lost their lives during World War II, particularly in connection with the Jesselton Revolt. The memorial is simple but powerful, especially knowing it stands on the actual site where the tragic events took place.
