There are three ride towers servicing 9 adult slides of varying excitement. The staff and lifeguards were friendly however there are a lot of rules and regulations to abide by. First is the weight and height requirements, there are maximum and minimum weights for users to look out for, they have scales at the start of the slides and they will weigh guests before allowing you to slide. If you weigh over 85kg then you cannot use any rides according to their rules however if you go and see the managment you can sign a waiver releasing them from liability and they will allow you to use the slides at your own risk (but not the wonderloop). We feel that the amount of rules does reduce the fun of the park however it is not uncommon for Malaysia waterparks to be so strict.

The park is quite clean though it does feel a little run down in places. The locker and changing area was quite clean as was the water.

With a lockdown just days away the park was extremely quiet, even so much that we had lifeguards having powernaps, the park is large enough that we felt that even on a busy day it would not feel overly crowded and with the multiple ride towers queues should not be too long.

We paid RM120 for entry as two people without a MyKad card, Malaysian residents would only pay RM100, tube rental is an extra RM15 fee plenty of offers and discount available for different events and reasons at the park entrance. Given the price we feel the park is reasonable value, there is room for improvement particularly on the ability for all sizes to play at the park and in allowing greater autonomy to guests, however globally we would rate Bangi Wonderland 2.7 out of ten on our ranking system. Our local rating however is a 4 out of 5.

FACTS + FIGURES

TOP TIPS: If you weigh over 80kg then go to the park managment and sign the waiver allowing you access to the slides at your own risk.

Pools: 1 Large Wave Pool, 1 Small Pool and a Lazy River the water was clean.

Flooring: Brick flooring can be quite slippery and obviously does heat up on hot days.

Spacious and large waterpark with good and complete facilities such as lockers, restrooms and changing rooms, dining area, food stalls, prayer room, baby room. Elevated parking areas from G to B2. Even have spacious free outdoor areas for parking as well.

We bought the ticket online at RM35 for adult and children above 110cm, this is the promo price as for reopening promotion. Just have to que at the counter to redeem wristbands. Outside foods and drinks are not allowed, except mineral waters. Staff will check your bags at the safety auto entrance gate.

Lots of interesting rides, however, the fun stop here because most of the rides have weight and height limit, at least 110cm above (some only allowed for 130cm and 150cm above) and 80kg below for most slides. My sisters got to ride on one slide, till the staff told they are not eligible for another slide that they queed for. Lol. Not sure if the weighting scale is working or not. So we no longer que for slides and only play at the children areas, the wavy pool, the river and the pirate spa.

Food wise is okay, affordable price (for this kind of place) for set with food and drink at RM12, variety from chicken rice, nasi ayam kicap, asam pedas fish and rice, mee kari, laksa, bihun soup, carbonated can drinks and mineral water. Taste wise is okay, not that bad.

It is very advisable to come on weekdays, not sure if normal weekend is crowded or not as we went on Saturday during the long weekend holiday last Deepavali, so it is quite packed and crowded. Large and medium locker are all fully utilized, only left with small size and have to rent 3 of them for 8 people's bags. Even have to que almost 1 hour at the tube rental counter because all of the tubes are fully utilized. And this is the second time, at lunch hour, where some has already prepared to leave the waterpark. As for morning session, we queed already, but the staff announced that all the tubes are fully rented somewhere at 11 am, so all the long ques dismissed though.

So far, good place to have fun, but you cannot fully enjoy all the interesting slides like in other waterparks. And due to this, I am marking down the rate to only 4 star. Overall, good and fun experiences!

P/s: if you are within the weight and height limit stated, I bet you will be thrill and enjoy...

Hi Bangi Wonderland, just wanted to review and complain on your theme park. Hope you take note:

REVIEW: Great place for the children with affordable prices and it is suitable with price for every part of the theme park such as children pool, water slides for children and adults. The price is under RM100 unlike other theme park so I believe that it is reasonable prices for all slides, facilities, pools and other that they have provided. Great amusement that boasts on the wave warning every one hour. One can have fun with the wave almost similar to the real ocean. For the food, I have noticed the prices are slightly markup due to they want collect more profit. Yet, it is reasonable prices. Maybe, that’s all for the review. Now move on to the complaint or feedback

COMPLAINT/ FEEDBACK First, I have noticed that my family went on weekend to this theme park. Consequently, on the next day, I have being affected with skin problems which is SKIN ITCHING and I cannot stop from scratching. Not just me, my niece and nephew also affected by this skin problems. I HOPE YOU CHLORINATE THE WATER for the next customers that may visit to this water theme park. Maybe, close for one day or two just for cleaning and chlorine the water to remove any bacterias or residues.

The only water playground/theme you have closed is the river pool. I have noticed you’ve closed it for maintenance since April, and it is almost 3 months. Hope you can fix it ASAP.

Next, I did notice some staff can’t comply to give good behavior such as smiling. For this little thing, trust me every customer will appreciate this small gesture.

Last, IMO you can add a small routes such as stairway for every visitor that have play/enjoy the GREEN PEARL as I need to walk a long way just to enjoy it for second time.

Thank you Bangi Wonderland for the great memories and hope you can improve for customers satisfaction and I do hope you can leave a survey for customer feedback by PASTING QR code on the walls at the theme park or give flyers to the customer for survey purposes! :D Goodluck for achieving 5/5 ⭐️...
