Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality. Restaurant looked great as well. Food also came quick despite the dinner rush. Overall was happy and would come again.
My only hope is that the table service improves because it wasn't too great. It was fine for the price we paid, but compared to everything else, this area lacked the most. I believe if this improves, the restaurant has potential to being one of the best in the area. Note: I recognise that it was a busy Tuesday night so maybe the team was a bit understaffed/ overwhelmed.
Elaborating on the table service: no one greeted us at the door to tell us where to sit or whether it's free seating. This was weird because it felt like the kind of restaurant that will usually have a host to ask for reservations and bring you to your table. If no host, I'd recommend a sign or other cue to indicate it's free seating. However, I strongly feel that a host would be best to control traffic coming in to the restaurant and to elevate the experience. as we walked in to find a table, could feel the gaze of all the waiters around looking down or away. Did not feel too welcoming we sat at a random table. Several of them weren't cleaned yet or were occupied. So my date and I (2 people) sat at one of the two clean tables which were meant for 6. no one came to give us menus so I picked two up on my own from a table. a waiter slowly walks towards us but kept looking around at the other tables, perhaps trying to figure out to move us somewhere else. My date asked if he wanted us to move to a smaller table. He muttered that it was fine but still looked undecided and kept looking to the other tables. Then he wanted to immediately take our order even though we just started looking through the menu. He awkwardly left. when we did want to take orders, all the waiters we tried to call passed us to a different waiter. I later realised why, we saw that there were two waiters with special tablets to take orders so the ones that didn't kept passing us to others. But the two waiters with tablets were constantly busy and being called upon by others to take orders. Not sure how to improve this one, but it did degrade the experience because we ended up waiting a while and it felt like no one wanted to serve us. When we got our sashimi, no one gave us soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. So we asked for one and got it but wasabi was empty in the container. Asked for a refill but never got it so went to get one from another table nearby although food was quick (less than 15mins received everything) our drinks took long, came once we were halfway done with the food. The Niko neko matcha tasted great though and was cheap compared to other places.
I write all this because I believe the restaurant has great potential and really hope to see this improved. Again, I still enjoyed my overall experience but feel that the table service was a huge miss. Good...

Service : 0/10. Reserve table for 7 but only got table setting for6. Waited 15mins after request to get the plate & chopstick. The woman waiter in black give such an attitude when she only come, put the food on table & just walk away without let us know what food is she serving & when we ask what food isit, she dont know. Yakitori not hot or warm. Almost cold & too sweet . Waiters nvr pickup empty plate when they send new food. We are celebrating birthday with cake. We also req the waiter to send out the cake. They dont even give up new plate & spoon 🥲 One of the side order we ordered earlier only came after we eat the cake. When we ask if we can cancel bcs we are going to leave, waiter said cannot. Before pay the bills, we give our feedback to the cashier but he only quiet with no respons. So we req if we can talk to manager. After we explain what happened, the manager only said he will cancel the side order from our bills hut we can have it for free & walk away. Not even try to say sorry or explain what happened on his side.
Atmosphere : 7/10. Place is so big, spacious & nice. But so messed out with kids running around without parents & few times almost bump with waiters.
We came from Subang to try out this place due to good review by some content creator. Never expect this kind of service & experience. So...
Read moreTldr; a beautiful restaurant with food quality that was a major letdown
At first glance, elegant wooden panel decorating its exterior. Beautiful. Entered the restaurant, no staff ushering us in. Perhaps they were too busy but okay. We looked for a staff to lead us to our reserved table. We had placed order beforehand, but both of my food arrived quite awhile after the call for prayer (we came for iftar). Had to ask a waiter twice before finally having them served... Only to be disappointed. While the cooking of the chawanmushi was on point, but the ikura did not taste fresh at all and bizarrely some of them were kinked and deflated. The usual sea taste when one bites into ikura.. that was amiss here sadly. There was some weird aftertaste that reminded me of plastic. The asari miso ramen... It's not that cheap and yet I got soggy ramen noodles. Good ramen noodle is supposed to be springy even when soaked in broth. It reminded me of instant ramen. The asari (clams).. not sure whether they're overcooked or just lack freshness but I could barely taste the sweetness clams should have. And the nori. Is just plain ol nori. No toasty fragrance
So yes, this place is too beautiful for this level of food. I truly hope they can either change the head chef and recipe, or maybe try not to skimp on the quality of the...
