First time having lunch, based on the menu looks like a pretty good serving but unfortunately the food that was served was rather disappointing. What's in the menu is totally different from what is being served, i ordered the pork rib rice set. I received a plate with really thin chopped fried pork rib? I cannot really tell as it was really thin that the meat was as tough as a jerky, it came with some stir fried broccoli that's really cut to baby bite size, a fried egg and the smallest bowl or should I say it's a sauce bowl of soup. Menu shows different plate for the pork rib (looks huge and appetizing), a bowl of green leafy vegetables, a "bowl" of soup. My friend told me the whole serving had reduced a lot since she came earlier in the year. Not worth the trouble, better get a plate of chicken rice with siu yuk in any eatery...😔 Another thing is their prawn fritters and curry puff is in my opinion over priced for that...
Read moreI have broken down my experiences in parts to better review this place. Overall, its 4.5 stars.
A) Ordering the ordering was via QR and a piece of paper, unfortunately there was no pen to write with but the qr speaks for itself
B) What was my order? i ordered my favorite instead of their signature as i believe that signature shouldn’t be prioritized by a restaurant. What i got was chilli fried rice, soda passion fruit and double scoop ice cream
C) Price? Kind of okay for the ambience, it resembles t20 kopitiam
D) Taste. soda passion fruit gets an 8/10 Chilli fried rice came with an okay portion, it lived up to his name for the brief 5-6 spoons. They have this sambal which I absolutely loved The ice cream was really good, charcoal Oreo and pistachio was a good combo for 17 bucks- you can a...
Read moreBeen here since its opened years back. In the beginning, services and foods were awesome. But today when I visit the biggest difference is the service. From great to a very bad experience. Waiters and a Chinese cashier were very rude, not sure if she's the lady boss. First, noone to serve us with menus. Then when I want to make my payment after my meal I told the cashier on the fried fritters that I took as well. The cashier urge me that i should pay upon taking the fried fritters and not afterwards and its written on a piece of small notice. I sounded her back to not be rude and someone should be at the counter to tell us that we should pay upon taking it and not fret on it afterwards. Very lousy service and truly disappointed as i always come here for coffee last time. Sincerely, hope...
