⁠Le Classic (Publika) - Best Hair Salon in Mont Kiara — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Worst experience of my entire life! Never have I been so sad and mad leaving a hair salon. All started well when I booked an appointment for a color and a cut. I was greeted by a hostess offering me something to drink and a complementary cookie. And then, it all went wrong with the intervention of the most incompetent hairdresser I've ever met, Jeff. There is a hierarchy system in this institution and the fact that Jeff could qualify to touch clients’ hair proves everything that it is wrong with it. After showing him pictures of what I wanted and explained that I just wanted to hid the greys in my brown hair but keep the highlights, Jeff suggested that I also get a care for a total of 200 euros which is not small money in Kuala Lumpur. I obliged as I've read the reviews and thought that I would be getting the best treatment in town. He started by applying new highlights and I should have been alarmed by the fact that he told his assistant that she was better than him at doing it. But then, after asking me again what color I wanted and showing him the pictures again, he decided to dye my hair red, copper red to be more precise. It was the lost awful color and when I understood what happened, I could not believe my eyes. I asked him what he did and he told me that the pictures had red in them (they did not) and that it was what I've asked for (it was not). I showed the pictures to his colleagues who all agreed that the hair was brown. I was left with the worst hair color possible for my coloring and a hairdresser blaming me for his mistake. One of his colleague spend 3 hours trying to repair the damage he did but I ended up with the worst hair color I've ever had in my life. I now have 3 differents tones, my hair is darker than my natural color which doesn't suit me at all and I have red highlights that I don't know how I will get rid of. Seing the damage, I've decided to chop most of it off and this too was not a success. When was Jeff during all this, he was botching another client's hair and she was not happy when she left. I spent a total of 7 hours and a half in the salon and the original offer to drink something was never renewed so in terms of customer service, I have yet to see worse. I don't recommend anyone go into this salon and I don't believe the 4.9 review as I've never met a hairdresser so...

I moved to Malaysia about 4 years ago and have tried literally dozens of salon from multiple locations.

Le Salon Hair Studio Publika is the first salon ive been too where the entire staff is just soo accommodating and friendly. Service is top of the line you feel like a VIP from the time you enter their studio, to the professional consultation given by their stylists - and this is regardless if they’re extremely busy with so many clients.

In my case, I had an idea of what i wanted but YongDy gave her professional and her personal advice as a stylist. She made me feel like someone who really cares about the health of my hair and ensured that my new haircolor would suit me. I felt like i can truly entrust them my hair and that they do the treatments that my hair needed and not because it’s the most expensive one for them to make profit off.

Our hair is our source of confidence and after my two sessions, i felt so alive and empowered with the results.

The Bodily Straight Treatment is handsdown the best if you have a fuzzy curly hair like me. Ive been doing hair straightening treatments from rebonding-relaxing-etc for over a decade [my hair has tried it all] and its the first time to see results that felt and look so natural. The small details in the technique that YongDy does works wonders.

My second session was to change my hair color from black to originally bleached color BUT YongDy and her assistant Marwan both strongly discouraged me from bleaching because it only looks good for a while but longterm it hurts your hair and pocket bec of the expensive maintenance treatment.

My experiences at Le Classic Hair Studio were awesome thanks to the outstanding customer service that I've received. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive which made me a returning customer for my hair chemical services (paid my 5th visit on last Saturday afternoon).

The atmosphere was warm and inviting: Ever since my first time stepping into the salon, I've always got the friendliest welcome and detailed explanation from Ricci, which made me feel valued as a customer and set a great tone for each of my visit.

My hair stylist, Jeff, is absolutely professional and knowledgeable as he could always offer expert advices on what treatment should be done to achieve the best results for my hair according to my specific condition. What makes Jeff different from my other previous hair stylists is his tirelessly patience in accommodating my random queries. Also, he always provided helpful tips on how to maintain my hairstyle at home, which I really appreciated (though my uncoordinated hands always ruined my fringe -- and ended up failed with awkward curls).

I liked how each assistants explained every steps clearly and kept me informed throughout the process; specifically Aaron, who explained professional hairdressing jargon to me using layman terms so I finally understood the anatomy of hair structure and how does the chemical works (and oh yea, thanks for the amazing blowout that made my hair felt incredibly soft!).

What truly elevated my experiences were the scalp massage during the shampooing process that done by Ethan. They weren't just quick rubs; but were careful lathering plus genuinely relaxing massage with perfect amount of pressure.
