Had the worst experience. Dont be fool by their reviews. I saw they are giving free ice cream to customers who leave good reviews. A total of 6 of us. Yakitori RM9/stick even for vegetables. Other menu are very pricey too. Portion is super small. Taste just so so. You should know your place is not cheap for a yakitori restaurant. Hence at least the best you can do is to provide proper service. Your staff said close at 12am. No one even bother to ask for last call. 11pm came to our table with credit card machine telling us to settle the bill now. Wanted to order a few more side dishes as our 1.8L sake still have some balance but tell us cannot order anymore. Fine. Forget about it. And understood that 2nd last customer left at 11.30pm and made us the last table. To think from staff perspective, of course after a long day of work on a weekend, if majority customers left and just left 1 or 2 table, they probably want to go home early to rest. But even before that they started mopping the floor already. And sharp 11.30pm after that 2nd last table left, right away they off all the lights leaving us in the dark, directly hinting us to leave now. No matter how i think, this is not the right way. Why not just lie to us in the face that u close at 11.30pm or what. We spent almost rm1.5k just for this kind of service???? Definitely not gonna recommend to anyone and not...
Read moreThe menu offers a balance of premium and more affordably priced dishes. We ordered the salmon carpaccio, corn and crab salad, spider tobiko maki, tekka maki, chicken gyoza, bara chirashi don, and the A5 Miyazaki sando. The bill came up to RM420++ for two people.
We took advantage of the sando promotion, which is RM88 for September, down from the usual RM180. Honestly, I’m relieved we didn't pay full price because it wasn’t worth it. The beef cutlet in the sando was fried and the seasoning overpowered the taste of the beef.
However, the rest of the dishes were excellent. The corn and crab salad was generously topped with chunky crab pieces, and the light yet flavorful dressing made it the perfect starter. The salmon carpaccio was definitely one of the better ones I've tried. Both makis were delicious—simple, fresh, and without the excessive mayo that some places tend to overuse.
The bara chirashi don was fantastic, though the portion was a bit small. Still, it was packed with fresh sashimi chunks, and I’d definitely recommend it.
The service was attentive; we never had to ask for a green tea refill, which was...
