The Catholic Church of Holy Rosary along Jalan Tun Sambathan in Kuala Lumpur began construction in 1903 and 18 months later in 1904 marks the then completed structure as the building now stands in what was a serene sanctuary in the heart of the bustling city.

Its striking architecture was designed by another Catholic Father, its unique and tranquil structure is now a haven for worshipers and visitors alike.

During my visit, the church was closed, and I only managed to take a glimpsed from outside, I have no idea how the interior's decoration looks like but was told the beautifully stained-glass windows and ornate decorate the interior. I would try to get another look inside the next time around. The church is said to offer regular Mass services, fostering a sense of community and spiritual fulfillment for its congregation.

I can say that visiting this piece of landmark whether in solace or prayers or simply admiring its architectural splendor will definitely bring a rewarding experience since this place is heritage in nature, and secondly, it's a House of God. If you're game for another experience, then don't mind spending time here.

I try to offer mass for my 2 children - every Sunday till end of the year. I contacted them via phone and said could I do internet transfer and send her the deposit proof so she can just email me the receipt. She told me they are unable to do so because very troublesome. I have to drive all the way there to give them the money.

I drove all the way there just to be told that although I am Catholic, my 2 children are Christian, I am not allow to offer mass in their name because they are not Catholic and this comes strictly from "Father of the Church"

I was very shocked. This is totally against the teachings of the bible. The Pope Francis himself washed the feet of the Muslim refugees and here is the father who would not even love non Catholic

I also attended mass once and never going back again because the Father was reading from his notes in the most monotonous voice and I could see people falling asleep. So boring....... I hope the higher authorities will look into the person guilty of doing things that turns people...

Old RC Church in the middle of the city . Gothic architecture with beautiful stained glass behind the main alter. The stained glass styled paintings at the sides with the Mysteries of the Rosary could have been done better. LCD screens in front block the stained glass. Ample parking inside and the parishioners are very courteous when entering and leaving the car-park. Weekend masses are at 5pm (Sat). 8.30am (English) and 10.30am on Sundays. Disabled friendly and senior citizens are helped by the excellent Hospitality Ministry. Priest gives an excellent Homily based on the Gospel reading.Beautiful singing by the Choir . Accessible by both MRT Pasar Seni and Monorail Sentral and Tun Sambanthan though you may need to talk a walk for 10-12 Mins. The QR Codes on the pews are totally unnecessary and create visual clutter . They could have put in front or side entrances for those who...

This small urban Catholic Church which has a historic origins back to the early 19th century, serves the community nearby and beyond the Brickfields area. There's a rich tapestry of the past woven into the architectural features within and around the building itself. Despite it's smaller interior capacity compared to the newer Catholic churches, this Church has quite a sizable parish outreach around the area. This Church is also popular for engaged couples for celebrating their wedding nuptial masses as well. As with many of the current day churches, this place of worship has been progressively updated and is currently air conditioned within. A necessity given the reality of global warming trends. The Church here is also part of the Kuala Lumpur Archdiocese network of parish churches within the greater Klang Valley.
