NU Sentral Shopping Mall Shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur No. 201 Jalan Tun Sambanthan 50470 Kuala Lumpur
Welcome to NU Sentral Shopping Mall, where shopping is an adventure waiting to happen! Located at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this mall is a hub of activity that's just bursting with convenience and excitement. Picture this: you step out of Subang Parade, and bam! NU Sentral is right there, beckoning you with its promise of shopping bliss. And if you're thinking of staying the night (or a few), there are several hotels nearby, so you can shop 'til you drop and then relax in style. But let's talk about what really mattersâthe accessibility. This place is a dream for commuters, thanks to its proximity to Sentral station. Getting here is a breeze, whether you're coming from near or far. And don't even get me started on the parkingâample space even on weekends? It's like a miracle in the world of shopping malls. Now, onto the shopping experience itself. Sure, it's a vertical complex, but don't let that fool youâit's packed with all the stores and excitement you could ask for. And while it might not be as sprawling as some malls, that just means you can cover more ground without breaking a sweat.
But what really gets my heart racing is the food court. It's a culinary delight, with a variety that'll satisfy even the pickiest eater. Plus, being so close to KL Sentral Station means you can hop off the train and dive straight into a world of flavours. And let's not overlook the ground grocery store and DFY hardware. They might not be the flashiest spots in the mall, but they're a godsend when you need to stock up on essentials or tackle a DIY project. NU Sentral Shopping Mallâit's not just a shopping destination, it's an experience. Go there just about every day I am in KL, and you can also connect with the shopping centre...

Honestly, I can foresee NU Sentral slowly being an abandoned mall unless they change their management. Reason being is because of their AC issue! I'm baffled that one of the reviews here mentioned "it is fully air conditioned". Is it a paid review??? Because not all shops here are air conditioned!
Check Tsuruhashi! They have portable AC to accommodate their patrons. The GSC at Level 5 also have perpetuating issues with their AC that has been prolonged for years. Their food court also is very hotttttt. Breakout NU Sentral is even more affected!! There's other shops also, but you all can see for yourself. Surprisingly, the right side of the mall is not affected (example: decathlon, nitori).
Honestly, I pity the tenants here. Imagine paying rent but you cant fully provide service to your customers and they end up getting the back lash.
If you call their customer service line, they hardly answer calls. One time they picked it up, I asked where is this shop and I can hear them murmuring behind and asking where is it; they dont even know where it is lol.... Then they just ended the call. They dont even bother answering my query. Your customer service center need to be trained better.
If you call the management to have them act on an issue, it takes them a long tiiiiiiiiime to take action.
If I compare this management with other mall's management, it is much better. They take quick action, fix it and can truly see they care for their tenants.
I also remember talking with operations team and he was very...
Read moreNU Sentral is a more convenient and accessible shopping destination, with some unique advantages for tourists.
It's directly connected to KL Sentral transportation hub, making it extremely convenient if you're using public transport or arriving/departing from the airport via the KLIA Express. The mall offers a practical mix of fashion, tech, beauty, and lifestyle brands, including both international labels and local boutiques, along with essentials like pharmacies, banks, and mobile service providers.
What to expect: The mall is quite large and you might feel a bit overwhelmed when walking through it, but it's less crowded than some other KL malls. It's convenient for currency exchange and offers good eating and shopping options. There's a notable cafe area near "the cubic" on the top floor that's popular for photos.
Best for: Transit travelers since it's connected to KL Sentral, people looking for practical shopping without the overwhelming scale of Mid Valley, and those who want easy access to food courts and restaurants. You'll find everything from quick bites and coffee shops to full-service restaurants and local cuisine.
Compared to other malls: It's more practical and transit-friendly than Mid Valley, though perhaps less comprehensive in terms of pure retail selection. The location makes it ideal if you're staying near KL Sentral or need to kill time before a train or flight.
NU Sentral works well as either a quick stop while in transit or a more relaxed shopping experience without the crowds of...
