WE having lunch date! I rarely to come BSC because i don't know what's the best to do there. Perhaps some short catch-up with friends, literally meet for gossip. Lol. So, we decided to having some luncheon session here. At fist place, we never though to eat here because we have several choices to pick. We need heavy food like really search for rice. Malaysian love to say "lapar teruk" meaning that you heavily starving and need food asap. Searching through BSC website and any nearest restaurant available, then we found this. The name kinda like fishy at first thought, another things that we kinda like off because they serve partially Indonesian dishes. In our mind, perhaps Ayam penyet la as for sure or sort of Ole-ole Bali standard. Nevermind, we just hitting it, giving a try for the first time.
Things that make us feel standout about the restaurant were:
Interior Design and the Ambiance. The restaurant taking a lot of space, providing special private rooms as well. All of the ID catch our eyes including the table arrangement and using natural floral as their main interior ingredients.
Food: We recommend you to order Set instead Ala carte because the waiter would giving some choices and recommendation during order. You are able to make several choice as what we did here example, you avoid "bebek" which mean duck, it can be replace with chicken. Not all of the menu set can be change, just sort of it. Hence, our menu was Chicken Percik, Sate, Gulai Pucuk Paku, weird Tauhu Telur Goreng, Mango Salad, Dancing Fish....... All of them were excellent. Delicious and worth of taste. We don't order any sweet drink because they are avoiding early full because the portion was huge. At first, we ask the waiter, either the portion, which is good for 2 persons size. Once all of its come to our table, just like festive season moment. We're so surprised, okay. Enough to feed 6 persons for 4 pax set menu to be inform all of you.
Price: Reasonable with 4 pax. There is nothing to compare. Basically, it's affordable to compare with the dishes they serve to us. Less than MYR300.00 at that time. Perhaps we don't order any sweet drinks. Oh yeah, before forgotten. During waiting time, the food to be served, they serve with traditional crackers, keropok belinjau/belinjo as early appetizer. Kinda fancy, right?!
Overall satisfaction, SUPERB! We're having good time, good food and a happy tummy. Everything is fulfilled! Another interesting part to share is that this restaurant was awarded by Michelin! yeahhhhhhh Michelin 2023. So, what's you guys waiting for? Go hit there before it splendid with the...
Read moreFood overall is good, but that's all that this has going for itself. We ordered the cumi-cumi bakar (grilled squid), ikan bakar with sambal hijau dan merah (grilled fish with red and green chilli sambal), omelette kerabu, and gulai pucuk paku.
The service was atrocious although I understand that this might not be fully the waiters fault, but the managers did nothing to help.
The first dishes (grilled squid and omelette keraby) took over 30 minutes to be served and no one warned us of possible delays with the food. By the time the next dishes came, our first 2 dish were already cold. We were not even served the right dishes, instead of getting the grilled fish with the red and green chilli sambal, we were served with the grilled fish with a tamarind and shallots dripping sauce, we were not warned or apologized to about this mix up in the order. It was just served as if they didn't care about what we wanted. And to make matters worse, we order 2 portion of their gulai pucuk paku and got none, instead they decided that we might have wanted some other vegetable dish. I do understand that maybe they had no more paku (fern) in their kitchen to make our dish, but do let us know before deciding that we would want that other dish. When we asked about the dish that was served the waiter simply said that someone was supposed to have come and talk to us about the change in dish and that he expected us to be aware of it.
Towards the end of our meal, the waiter did apologize about the delay and explained that they were short-staffed. But the management did nothing about it. They did not come to apologize about the wrong dish being served or about changing our order or about cancelling 1 of our dish.
While I do understand that mistakes do happen and that this might not be the waiters fault, but I believe that the manager should have come to apologize for these mistakes. As it stands, I would not recommend going to this place and I will actively be discouraging anyone I know from...

I am writing to express my deep disappointment following our recent dining experience at your restaurant.
Our group consisted of four smaller families, and we ordered the following dishes: Set 10(A), Kembang Cauliflower Bakar, Bebek Mango Pedas, Grilled Chicken Chop, Cendol, and a variety of different drinks.
Unfortunately, after our meal, all four families experienced severe cases of diarrhea. At least two members from each family were affected, with some individuals needing to visit the restroom three to four times. Out of which the pregnant lady and her 3 year old son purged 6X and the birthday boy who is 80 years old man 4X!
This was the first time visiting your restaurant for most of us, and while we were excited to try your Michelin offerings, the unfortunate outcome has left us extremely disappointed. We had high expectations for the quality of food served, but this incident has significantly tarnished our perception of your establishment.
Besides, there were two families who were supposed to drive back to Johor after the 80th birthday celebration, but it was postponed the next working day, Monday morning due to the purging.
Food safety is a crucial aspect of any dining experience, and we are deeply disappointed with this.
On top of that after emailing them on 11 Aug 24 up to today, 17 Aug 24, there is no written response from them despite follow up emails. I think they need to improve not just on food hygiene but their complaint management too. Fish is good but unfortunately has big bones and hard to eat for some of us especially older and children.
Petola is slightly bitter.
Cauliflower is also too hard even can’t cut it apart.
Bebek is also not good, taste overly sweet.
The tofu egg is tooooo hard, didn’t taste like tofu you eat.
The drink is so refreshing because I asked for less sweet. Yums.
Overall...
