No luggage storage (only paid lockers) no real front desk. They even have a sign saying no 24hr staff anymore and the cash deposit you pay, how will you claim that back if there's no 24hr staff, especially as a tourist. Responsive on WhatsApp though.
There is a lack of customer service and explanation. Even a basic guidebook in the room would resolve some of this. The building is confusing if you are a tourist as it's multiple towers and not all lifts go to the floor you need. No instructions were provided upon check in apart from "take the lift".
The whole place seems designed for a very short stay and not a holiday. If you are going to sleep and then be outside the rest of the day then that's fine. If you want to spend any time relaxing in the room then it's not a great option. There just seems to be little logic applied to the room and I generally don't moan too much but a 2 bed apartment should have sufficient amenities for... at least 4 people right?
Whilst the room looks well decorated and modern it's lacking any sort of true living environment.
no lamps resulting in a dark room nodecorations means it echoes a lot and does not feel like a home WiFi randomly cuts out periodically only 1 nightstand next to each double bed no glasses, only mugs no kitchen knife so how do you prepare food in the kitchen? only 3 plates, 3 bowls, 3 forks, 3 spoons and 2 butter knives. Someone just has to wait for others to finish eating before they can get a plate and cutlery? only 3 coat hangers in the entire apartment. only 1 hook in each bathroom so unable to hang more than 1 item no seating or table to enjoy the balcony view no instructions or guidance on amenities open or close times, locations No guidance on the free shuttle without asking no cleaning service or even emptying of bins for long stays. only 1 AC switch for 3 AC units. So I just wake up other people to change my AC at night if they have the remote? electric wires with no fan/lightbulb attached still hanging from the ceiling no bathroom extractors only enough washing liquid for 1 use of washing machine on a 4 night stay no hand soap for bathroom sinks
We paid 885myr for a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Extremely slow check-in process. Long queue at 3pm to get new guests their keys. Room still not ready at 3.30pm wet floor, smelt like mop.
We faced the river which was an ok view but could be noisy from the cars on the highway. Noise travels through the windows easily and if your neighbours have kids then you will hear their footsteps or furniture moving.
There is a food court nearby, and some restaurants and shops around the lower tower floors.
The gym was acceptable. It has a lot of free space and could have much more equipment packed in there but is fine. The stuff that was there was modern and working. Punchbags are a nice extra you don't typically see at gyms. Gym and pool open 7am to 10pm.
They have a free shuttle to KL central terminal. Register in the book on the desk and arrive about 15 mins before the...
Read moreDuring my recent stay in Kuala Lumpur, I chose Mana-Mana Suites for my accommodation, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel apartment offers easy access to major attractions, shopping malls, and public transport, making it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers.
The suite I stayed in was spacious, modern, and well-furnished, providing a comfortable home-like environment. The kitchenette was fully equipped, which was a great plus for me as I prefer to prepare my own meals occasionally. The living area was cozy, and the bed was quite comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The apartment also featured large windows that offered stunning views of the city skyline.
However, there were a few downsides to my stay. The housekeeping service was a bit inconsistent. On a couple of occasions, I noticed that the room was not cleaned thoroughly, and some toiletries were not replenished. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat unreliable, which could be a problem for those who need a stable internet connection for work.
The staff at Mana-Mana Suites were generally friendly and helpful. They were quick to respond to my requests and provided useful information about the local area. The building's amenities, such as the gym and swimming pool, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience.
In summary, Mana-Mana Suites offers a comfortable and convenient stay with minor areas for improvement. It's a solid choice for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, especially those who appreciate having a bit more space and the option...
Read moreI got to say I’m really not satisfied with the stay. First, I was told I ordered the wrong rooms when I’m very confirm I chose the room carefully which I don’t want the family studio as last time we were staying there and it’s not a pleasant stay. So, I’m make sure I’m not select the family room when I book the room. Anyway it’s get me to the same family room which I don’t know whose mistake? Secondly, I have ask the concierge counter that I don’t want the uneven bed which I had last time. He said you can change room if it is. So I went to the room he has given but boom.. the room is not ready yet. And I have an upset stomach which need to go to toilet asap. Nvm I can just wait a little bit then I saw the bed is uneven so I just call the number given to make changes to the room straight away. This is very hassle as I’m taking two luggage’s and few bottles of water bought with me which I’m alone at that time. I need to go down to the concierge counter again to obtain the other rooms key. Third, when I reach my new room I find the bed is also uneven. I’m so pissed off of the stay. After one night stay I got my back pain again. Hence, I requested to chance the room. My spouse said it’s hassle to change room again as we have luggage’s and some other heady stuff so we just let it go. Seems like this property is not my favorite anymore. I will pass to other hotel or short stay...
