The only reason why this is rated 1 star is because without that I am unable to post.... In actual fact, this should be no star
3 Damansara..... place to go if you want your day spoilt...Bravo and kudos,
3 Damansara can spoil anyone’s weekend within seconds
3 Damansara parking is a cashless parking system which did not work during my visit just now. System error can be accepted but the non-responsiveness of the security / parking attendants is not acceptable. I attempted to pay with my credit card and ended up trying multiple credit cards on a few cashless parking system. No one responded on the intercom when I attempted to call for assistance. Had to walk to the parking office... (so called parking office) but not a soul in sight. Rang the bell there and even shouted for assistance but to no avail. Called the management office but a lady refused to allow me to speak to the manager in charge by coming up with excuses that the manager is not in yet... Then again, this could be true given the fact that the mentality of the workers in the management office of the mall reflect the commitment towards work by the manager. Mall is opened and yet manager is nowhere to be seen. The lady did not even want to disclose the duty mobile number and yet did not even attempt to reach the managers for me to raise my concern. She would rather I raise this matter on the social media platform. Searching the social media, I found that this is not the first time that the parking system and non- responsiveness of the people working in the mall towards the customer predicament in the parking system. Some of these reviews were 2 months ago and no action taken. Obviously, the satisfaction and convenience of the customers is placed very low in the order of ranking if at all I can conclude that driving profitability seemed to be the malls highest priority since there is non-existence of security personnel (I did not see any during my time there), parking attendants, untrained customer service, missing manager (if there was actually a manager in charge) Thank you 3 Damansara for making sure my Sunday is spoilt but I would like to appreciate the fact that I have less one headache to decide what mall to visit during the weekends... I now have one less mall in my list.... First Class mall with 3rd world management...
Read moreI saw 3 Damansara during its construction over 12 years ago. In fact, I was one of their first few hundred patrons. Back then it was called Tropicana City Mall. It was a go-to-place for me to shop and for entertainment. Carrefour was one of its anchor tenants besides GSC. It was flourished. Lots of shops and I enjoyed strolling in it. There were lots of events organized during its beginning. I celebrated my new year's eve there and there was a huge concert held at the location on new year's eve. These days, when I step into what is now called 3 Damansara (formerly known as Tropicana City Mall), I couldn't help but feel sad and disappointed. It has lost its glory. The charm is no longer there. I don't even feel like going to the concourse area, not to mention to go up on the next floor as it has turned into a very sad mall. They used to have Daiso, Borders, Kenny Roger's and whatnot... Now, they all have vanished... It's not an interesting mall like it used to be. I used to shop for my kitchen utensils in of the shops but that shop has ceased to exist. Perhaps the management has to try new approach to bring it back to life. It's dying in my humble...
Read moreDined in a group of 7. Food was not bad, quite reasonably priced and portioned. A very quiet Monday night as the restaurant was very empty. Had a nice cost corner to ourselves. What irritated me was, I arrived there with another friend. As soon as we were seated, we were asked if we going to order wine, if not, the would like to clear the wine glasses. I told them that the rest of our friends were not there yet and we would like to wait for them before we decide. Then, another friend of ours walked in, making that 3 of us out of 7, and another waiter comes and asks the same question about the wine glasses. So, again, we said to wait. Then, 2 more of our friends came in, 5 out of 7 of us now, and another waiter comes and asks the same question about the wine glasses. At that point, we told them to please remove the glasses. Dessert wasn't impressive at all. The chocolate brownie was not bad but the red velvet cake tasted stale. I would go back to Swine but only to the...
