[December 2022] I would say it is more like a dead sea. Haha. They just block about 15 feet of the lake edge and converted into a sandy man made beach. Not as interesting and the sand are quite rough. Do supervise your kids as the blocking line is not as solid I felt. And lake water wasn't that clean too.
Operating time starts from 9am and they do require an entrance ticket. Earlier than that is free in the morning session. Gate are open and you are free to walk into it.
There's a public toilet opposite the beach and is easy for post cleanup. But only 3 toilet cells each available for male and female....

There weren’t too many flowers, but still a good place to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The view of the bridges from here is very cool. A few cafés...
