AEON Mall Shah Alam — Attraction in Shah Alam

Hi, I would like to bring up an issue during my shopping experience on the 19th of January 2025, around 12PM. I was browsing through the bag section at AEON’s mall (Shah Alam Jalan Akuatik) and wanted to make a purchase of a backpack at the woman’s section. There’s a lady staff in charge who keeps on being on her phone. Appare she’s the one in charge of the bag sections (for Swiss Polo ones, lots of backpacks on display there). When I approached her asking for the bag I’m interested in she is still on a phone call and only ended it when I asked to see the in-stock one for the display product I am seeing. She showed a very dismissive attitude as if I was asking for a very weird service from her while she was supposed to be attending the section. She said “tiada stock punya, hari ini kita jual semua display. Yang jaga sini semua sudah berhenti. Store pun kunci hari ini. Check saja semua okay boleh bayar.” which I find very weird? LOCKED STORE? Astonishing. I don’t know you’d lock your storage room when customers have the rights to have the staff check for other existing stocks instead of the displayed ones. She insisted I just check the display bag and proceed with payment, her hand still on her phone. I made payment and when I returned to retrieve the bag she is STILL TALKING ON HER PHONE and wordlessly took the receipt from my hand for her keeping and not even a reply to my “Thanks”. I was rushing and not in the mood to ruin my day but I believe AEON should not let such unprofessional attitude remain among staff because I have been to other outlets in other states and they treat customers nicely without being bound by their phones, god knows what is so important than working. I hope my complaint gets the attention...
